Epoxy Flooring Systems

Epoxy is probably the most common type of flooring system in the coatings industry. Its a work horse type of material and can be customized to meed the demands of a variety of environments. Its useful in decorative settings by adding metallic pigments, and can be a very durable solution in high demand commercial settings and industrial settings by adding quartz broadcasts coats and building industrial grade epoxy systems. There are also ways to upgrade its chemical resistance and overall durability by adding things like high chemical resistant top coatings, novalac epoxys, and urethane top coats. Epoxy is a go to for many industrial and commercial settings because of its affordability and overall utility and performance. 

MMA Flooring and High performance Acrylic flooring systems.

MMA flooring is a high performance acrylic resin that is a favorite for many of the specialists in The Floor Coatings Group. Uts made of the same base chemistry as bulletproof glass and a favorite of The Floor Coatings Group. Its fast installation and minimal down time features make it ideal for industrial facilities where production and staying in service is ideal. The durability, working conditions, cure time and return to service benefits, as well as overall durability and longevity of the MMA family of floor systems make it a must for high demand areas where performance and durability are the most important flooring requirements. 

Urethane Cement

Known for its durability, chemical resistance, ability to withstand thermal shock, and overall toughness, urethane cement is also a great choice for high demand environments. Urethane Cement floors outlast most other flooring options and are workhorse type of flooring systems. They will stand up to most any type of abuse and working environments and they have a reputation for being very tough and lost lasting floor systems solutions.

Polyaspartic 

Polyaspartics are very fast curing systems with durability and chemical resistance features that make it a good solution for many environments. It also has higher ultra violet (UV) resistance than epoxies and will maintain its color much longer than other flooring alternatives. Its fast cure times make it a great solution for areas that need to have a new floor installed quickly so they can return to service. 

Novalac

Novalac is a highly chemical resistant coating that is a great top coat material that adds chemical resistance and specialized protection to a floor. Adding Novalacs to a flooring specification can customize and upgrade the longevity of a system depending on the specific types of chemicals and harsh working environment that we are needing to provide a solution for. 

Polished Concrete

Polished Concrete is not a resinous coating system but typically falls under the services offered by most Floor Coatings Group certified installers and is a great alternative to floor coatings. Polished concrete finishes are achieved by utilizing diamond grinders and concrete preparation equipment which is typically needed in prepping concrete for a true resinous flooring system. Polished concrete is a cost efficient way to protect your concrete, make it look more decorative, add longevity to the lifetime of your concrete slab, and add visual appeal to any space that has concrete. There are some chemical resistant and slip resistant limitations to polished concrete, but it has many benefits that make it a great type of finished options for many budget points and types of environments.

High Performance Top Coat/Sealers

Top coats add specialized protection to different types of systems. Things like urethane top coats and novalacs can add additional chemical resistance, wear resistance, protection to any and all types of systems and should be chosen based on specific use cases and to meet specific requirements.
